SnowBLAST Winter Fest Returns Feb 5

The Columbia Heights' SnowBLAST festival returns Feb 5 in Huset Park! The event debuted in 2021 as part of the City’s 100th anniversary and was brought back this year by popular demand.

SnowBLAST will take place from 3-6:30 pm, Feb 5, at the divide between Huset Park West and Huset Park East in Columbia Heights, and will feature an open skating rink, free pony rides for kids, free popcorn, a s’mores station, fire pits, food trucks, beer sales, and free hot beverages while supplies last.

This event is truly a community effort, with City staff from recreation, public works, police, fire and administration relying heavily on volunteer support and contributions from several community groups and organizations.
