Birdscaping Basics
Wednesday, March 21, 6:30-7:30 PM
How can you attract more birds to your yard?  This class will introduce the idea 'birdscaping'-- landscaping that deliberately keeps birds in mind with plants, layouts, and other features to attract birds.  We will discuss the benefits of birdscaping for birds, as well as other species, like butterflies and bees.  Free.  No registration required.

Mysteries of History
Monday, April 9, 6:30-7:30 PM
Join in the fun as we try to figure out the order of construction photos, deduce eras based on the clothing worn, or just try to figure out 'what in the world is going on in that picture?'  Funding for this presentation is provided by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.  Free.  No registration required. 

Scrabble Club
1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month
6:30 PM- 7:30 PM
Exercise your brain and challenge others to a friendly game of Scrabble.  Everyone welcome.  No need to register.  Hosted by the Friends of the Columbia Heights Library.

Conversation Circles
Thursdays 1-2 PM
Wednesday Conversation Circle may return in the Fall
Conversation circles is an informal weekly gathering of English-language learners.  It gives adults a chance to practice their speaking skills in a group setting with help from an English speaking volunteer.  Registration is NOT required, the group is open to anyone.
