Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Oct 27

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Sat, Oct 27 from 10 am to 2 pm. There will be staff members available in the lobby of the Public Safety Building, 825 41st Ave, to take your unwanted prescription drugs for disposal. The purpose of this event is to offer residents a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing prescription drugs, which can fall into the wrong hands or be environmentally hazardous if disposed of improperly.

 

If you have drugs to dispose of, but you can't make it during this event, don't worry. The Drug Take Back Box in the lobby of the Public Safety Building is available for your use anytime during normal business hours (weekdays 8 am to 4:30 pm).
