2020 Tax Assistance
This year the tax service will be handled differently due to COVID-19.
Beginning mid-February information for taxpayers seeking tax help will be available on the AARP website: www.aarpfoundation.org. You must refer to this website for assistance. For those without Internet access, call 1-800-775-6776. This number is a national call line. Please be aware you will be asked to sign up for their program. You are NOT required to become an AARP member to receive tax assistance.
The Columbia Heights 55+ Senior Center is located in the lower level of John P. Murzyn Hall at 530 Mill Street. It provides a wide variety of educational, social, and recreational programs to individuals 55 years of age and older in the community. The 55+ Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

AARP Safe Driver refresher courses have been canceled for the remainder of 2020. You can take the course online at www.aarpdriversafety.org
The CH Active Agers monthly newsletter including the 55+ events calendar, informs individuals of programs, classes, day outings and special events being offered at the 55+ Senior Center, Recreation Office, Library, and senior housing facilities.
