  • 22 computers open for use in the library.
  • Sign-up at any available computer.
  • Up to four hours a day of time on the computers as long there are open computers for other patrons.
  • Internet access, Microsoft Word 2016, Power Point 2016, and Excel 2016 available on all computers.
  • A valid library card and PIN number are required to use the Internet browsers at the library. Please see staff regarding library card questions.
  • 10 cents per page for black and white printing (coins or bills only)
  • 50 cents per page for color printing (coins or bills only)
  • You need your library card number to get your documents

Free Wireless Access
  • The Columbia Heights Public Library provides free wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) on site.
  • Feel free to bring in your laptop and battery charger to use the Wi-Fi while you are browsing the library. There is no time limit on use of the Wi-Fi.
  • The Wi-Fi is not connected to a printer.
  • The network name is City Public and there is no password needed.
Microfilm Reader
  • A microfilm reader is available for use in our History Room.
  • Printing and saving to a flash drive from the microfilm reader are available.
  • Please ask staff at the circulation desk for assistance.
