Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Received

The City of Columbia Heights received a $200,000 grant from the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program for the development of a citywide safety action plan. The City is in the process of developing the next steps of the grant agreement that it will have to execute with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

The City hopes to evaluate current conditions, roadway risks, and roadway crash data across Columbia Heights in order to develop a safety action plan that will help provide strategies and projects to increase safety for both motorized as well as non-motorized traffic users throughout the City.
