4025 Van Buren Street NE Ramp Available for Winter Parking

With the incoming winter storm, snowplow operators will need to plow all City streets several times over the next few days. Please help them get the job done by not parking on any City street until after the roads are completely cleared later this week. This means no street parking between now and Friday morning at the earliest. If you have nowhere else to park your car, you may use the City-owned Van Buren parking ramp to store your vehicle through the end of the weekend, Sunday, Feb 26. Overnight parking will temporarily be allowed in the ramp without cost or penalty.

The top floor of the ramp will not be accessible, but the bottom three floors are available. Police will increase patrol of the ramp during this time, but please do not leave any valuables in your car. The ramp is located at 4025 Van Buren Street NE. The potentially record-setting, multi-day winter storm is set to begin Feb 21 and last through Thursday evening, Feb 23. In addition to heavy snow with impressive totals, wind gusts will cause blizzard conditions and significant travel impacts. Please drive slowly. Stay home if you can. Avoid parking on City streets for the next three days.
