Safe Driver Courses Return to Murzyn

After a COVID hiatus, Columbia Heights Recreation's Safe Driver 4-hour refresher course returns to Murzyn Hall.  The safe driving course, also known as defensive driving, will be held twice this spring.

Attendees can sign up for one of the two options: 
Mon, Feb 28, 9 am-1 pm OR
Mon, March 28, 9 am–1 pm

The course is taught by the MN Safety Council. You must preregister for this class no later than Mon, Feb 14  or Mon, March 14, depending on which date you attend. Please call 763-706-3730 to register. $29.00 per person.

If you have successfully completed a state-approved 8-hour defensive driving course, you are eligible to take this 4-hour defensive driving course to renew your insurance discount certificate.  The class is held at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill Street NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421.
