Top Valu Liquor Store 3 Under Renovation

Top Valu III, formerly Heights Liquor, on 5225 University Ave NE, is undergoing renovation this month. It will be the first major update to the building since it was constructed in 1963. The pylon sign was replaced last year to rebrand the store's name. Although Top Valu III can never look exactly like the other two Top Valu stores due to fundamental differences in construction, this update will borrow elements from the other stores, particularly in the interior. The interior work is expected to begin as soon as possible after the exterior sheet metal is completed. The store will be closed for roughly 4 weeks once the interior work begins, but will be open until then. The grand reopening date will be announced later this spring.
