Safety Precautions in Place for Election Day

With the 2020 state primary approaching, the City of Columbia Heights has put in place safety precautions for voters and staff. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Election Judges will be wearing masks, also required for voters
  • Plexiglas barriers throughout election worker stations
  • Hand sanitizer located at entrance and exits
  • Single-use pens for voters
  • Arrows and directional signage on floors
  • Polling places set up modified to account for social distancing including one-way traffic flow
  • High touch surfaces such as voting booths regularly disinfected

Residents are able to vote at City Hall or the Anoka County Government Center until Mon, Aug 10.

Reminder, all residents conducting business at any City building must come wearing a mask.

City Hall Voting Hours

Regular Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 am-4:30 pm
Extended Hours: Aug 8, 10 am–3 pm, and open until 5 pm, Aug 10.

Use the State of Minnesota Polling Place Finder. Type in your address and the website will tell you your precinct number and polling place.
