78th Annual Jamboree Celebrations Are June 26-30
The 78th annual Columbia Heights Lions Club Jamboree & carnival will be held from Wed, June 26 - Sun, June 30 at Huset Park and other locations around town.
Wed, June 26
• Tasty Pizza Medallion Hunt - Clues posted daily, 11 am & 5 pm @ Tasty Pizza and on Facebook. $1,000 prize!
• Senior Caregiver Fair 2 - 8 pm FREE @ Murzyn Hall
Thu, June 27
• Community Picnic and Art Fair, 4:30 - 7 pm, with a FREE Kids Fishing Clinic at 6 pm (pre-register w/Rec) @ Huset Pk West
• CH Art & Craft Fair 4:30 - 7:30 pm @ Murzyn Hall, rain or shine
• Lions Beer Garden 5 pm - 1 am
• Carnival 5 pm - 11 pm*
Fri, June 28
• Jamboree Parade 6 - 8 pm, Parade begins at 45th & Central Ave., proceeds south to 40th Ave., ends at 5th St.
• Lions Beer Garden 5 pm - midnight
• Carnival 3 pm - midnight
Sat, June 29
• Athletic Boosters Heights Hustle 5K Run/Walk 7:15 am check in, 8:00 am race @ CHHS Track - register at www.chathleticboosters.com - online preferred
• Peace Fest, 10 am - 6 pm, 41st and Van Buren St. NE,
• Bags Tournament 12 - 4 pm @ Beer Garden
• Lions Car Show 5-9 pm, 4 pm registration @ Huset Park
• Adult Soft ball Tournament all day & the Home-Run Derby 7 pm@ Huset Park East
• Lions Beer Garden 10 am - 12 midnight
• Carnival 1 pm - midnight
• Fireworks dusk (if rain, Sunday at dusk)
Sun, June 30
• Adult Soft ball Tournament, all day @ Huset Park
• CH Lions Belgian Waffle breakfast 9 am - noon @ Murzyn Hall
• BINGO w/CH Lions & CH Athletic Boosters 12:30 - 3 pm @Murzyn Hall
• Carnival 1 pm - 6 pm, Family Fun Day, FREE Admission
• Lions Beer Garden 12 pm - 6 pm
