SEASONAL SUMMER PLAYGROUND ASSISTANT
Primary Duties:
Under the supervision of the Recreation Program Coordinator and the Playground Supervisor, the Playground Assistant is responsible for assisting in the planning, creating, organizing, and actively participating and leading playground activities for children 4 years old and up. Actively assists in the supervision of youth day trips and enforcement of all regulations pertaining to the health and safety of all participants.
Required Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older. Knowledge of arts and craft activities, active sports activities, and first aid training a plus.
Length of Employment: June – August 2019
Hours: Less than 40 hours per week, possibly 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM with unpaid lunch.
Wage Range: $9.86 - $10.86 per hour
