HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Position Overview:    
This is highly responsible administrative and supervisory work in administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources, benefits, labor relations, and employee relations functions of the City.  Work is performed with wide latitude for independent judgment and action under the general supervision of the City Manager. This is a confidential, FLSA exempt position.
    
Required Qualifications:     
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, management, public or business administration, labor or industrial relations, or other closely related field.  Three years responsible experience in all areas of personnel administration.  
         
Desired Qualifications:    
Master’s degree in human resources, organizational development, management,public or business administration, labor or industrial relations, or other closely related field.  Previous experience in public sector personnel administration. Two years supervisory experience. IPMA-CP, IPMA-CS, SPHR, PHR, CLRP, and/or CEBS certification or coursework.

Wage Range:  $6,833 - $7,765/month plus fringe benefits

Hours:   8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday plus infrequent evening meetings
