THEATER INSTRUCTOR (Seasonal, part-time)
Primary Duties:
Under the supervision of the Recreation Program Coordinator, the Seasonal Theater Instructor is responsible for planning, creating, organizing, and actively participating and leading theater activities for 3rd-12th grader participants. This also includes the production of a cumulative performance, open to the public. This position actively works with the Recreation Program Coordinator to meet program needs.
Required Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent plus some college work related to this position. Experience working with youth and handling behaviors and group dynamics. Knowledge of theater, instruction of acting skills, assembling sets, and lighting/sound necessary.
Length of Employment: May – August 2020.
Hours: Less than 40 hours per week, typically 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM with unpaid lunch.
Wage Range: $14.00 - $17.50 per hour.
