Assists the City Clerk in the planning, administration, and execution of various duties in connection with the 2020, Presidential Primary Nomination (PNP), Primary and General Elections. Provides administrative support to the City Clerk with routine tasks and special projects.
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Minnesota driver’s license. One year experience performing office, secretarial, or clerical work. Two years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Suite in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Two years’ experience in providing customer service or related position.
Experience with elections and the Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS) absentee ballot module. Experience with Laserfiche Software System and scanning equipment. Strong proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience working in a local government office.
This is a variable hour position which begins approximately January 15, 2020 through November 15, 2020 with most hours scheduled between February 10 – March 3, July 20 – August 11, and October 12 – November 3. The hours will fluctuate between 10 and 40 hours per week as needed between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position may require evening work on each Election day and may require work on the Saturday before each election from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Wage: $15.00 per hour
