Department Responsibilities
The Sewer & Water Department operates and maintains the city’s entire water distribution system, including:

• Hydrants
• Meters
• Three sprinkler systems
• Two decorative fountains
• Two pump stations
• Valves
• Water mains
• Water tower

This department also operates and maintains the sanitary sewer collection system, which includes the inspection and repair of manholes, trunk and main sewer lines, and four lift stations.
