Under a project coordinated by Anoka County, a private company from Boulder Colorado – the Zayo Group – has recently installed high-speed internet cables in Columbia Heights and throughout the County.
Although the Zayo Group owns the new internet cables, they do not sell internet services to individual homes and businesses. The Zayo group rents their cables to internet service providers, who in turn sell internet services to individual homes and businesses. These retail internet providers are private companies known as “last mile” providers.
At this time, no last mile providers have contracted with the Zayo Group to provide service in Columbia Heights. However, if you would like to fill in the form below, we will add you to our list of businesses and residents that are interested in this potential service.
