What is the Foundation?

• A non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization founded in December 2001
• A group led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors representing the community

Vision

• To assist the library in providing a center for community activity
• To assist the library in providing 21st Century information and technology

Mission

• To generate financial support for enhancement of library facilities and services through community partnerships

Projects (Past and Present)

• Minnesota Regional Arts Council grant; received 2005, 2006
• Tell Me More creative writing / public presentation workshops through the Children’s Theatre Neighborhood Bridges program
• Fundraisers at the Heights Theatre
• Jamboree celebration
• Spaghetti Dinner
• Linder's fundraiser
